Independent Regeneration Limited has been developed especially as a housing regeneration special purpose company with the sole objective of providing a low, zero or even an overage sharing method of the sustainable redevelopment of Empty or unfit homes. The Board and Officers of Independent Regeneration Limited (I.R.) are experienced in Housing and Commercial Regeneration. The Founder, owner and Chief Executive Officer, Ian Robinson is an Ex-Local Government Director of Housing and Environmental Health with over 40 years of direct experience in Housing, Health and Renewable Energy and Sustainable Development. The ‘Founder’ of the Company started to develop this unique regeneration model based on his lifetimes experience in Housing and Health. He states that this is probably borne out of his frustration by never quite having enough finance when a Director in Local Government himself!
Peter Langley, a Director of Independent Regeneration is an experienced Project Manager, Training and Learning Consultant, Bid Writer and Business Development Manager. Working in Regeneration and Education for the last 26 years gaining extensive experience as a Senior Manager in a number of LEA, with an excellent record of securing external funding from a number of sources and for a number of different types of organisations, leading and developing initiatives through to completion, welding disparate funding streams into a coherent regeneration plan leading to an effective strategy for community improvement. Ian and Peter will lead the Project throughout.
Independent Regeneration takes the whole financial risk for this project as with all our projects. The Advanced Regeneration of Penrhys is a slight departure from the ‘core’ work that we have contributed to in the past, in that the New Build elements are much larger than in refurbishment schemes where only a fraction might be new build, however the principles remain the same.
